Hidden near Bishnupur, the Sareswar and Saileswar Temples are ancient Shiva shrines built by the Malla kings. Though ruined, they reflect Bengal’s temple heritage and come alive during Shivaratri and Gajan festivals.

Among the famous terracotta temples of Bishnupur stands the well-known Dalmadal Cannon. It is a symbol of bravery, skill, and strong faith. This powerful cannon carries a story of how the people of this small town once found protection and strength during difficult times.
